Illinois Ohio Valley Trophy Hunts is a commercial hunting outfitter located in Pope County, Illinois, known as the Deer Capital of Illinois. The operation manages 4,000+ acres of private land consisting of crop lands, white-oak acorn forests, swamps and sloughs around the old Ohio River bottoms. They maintain up to 300 lock-on and ladder stands positioned at 17-20 feet in height throughout their properties. Only Pope and Young bucks scoring 130 inches and larger may be taken to ensure optimal maturation. The land features rich food plots and secret food plot mixes interspersed throughout to maintain and enhance the big buck population.
